The Urban Community Leadership Academy’s mission is to provide its diverse student body the best possible educational opportunities by focusing on a strongly affirmed academic foundation delivered through an integrated multidisciplinary project based learning curriculum.  The Urban Community Leadership Academy strives to prepare students for community leadership though academic, personal, and professional excellence based on high expectations and consistent support.  Teachers, parents, students and community are involved in the decision-making process.

  • Apr 2-6 - 9th grade college tour (LA, AK, MI)
  • Apr 2-6  - Last week of after school activities
  • Apr 6   - NO SCHOOL
  • Apr 9  - MAP testing begins
  • Apr 9  - 3rd quarter report cards mailed home
  • Apr 9-Jun 1  2:05p dismissal M-Th
  • Apr 10  - Parent meeting, student transitional informational - 6p
  • Apr 17 - EOC testing begins
  • Apr 19 - DARE graduation
  • Apr 24-26 - School Fair with Neighboring schools for all Students and Parents, 9-2 p.m.
  • Apr 27 - 3rd quarter Honor Awards assembly - 12:30p
  • Apr 28 - Saturday School - 6:50a - 12:25p (transportation provided)
